When The Curtain Falls

It Hurts and it hurts so bad that you can barely function!

The moment you realize that the entire community, neighborhood, distant circle of friends, etc... knows your secret; your heartbreak secret. You worked really hard to keep it to yourself bc it not only hurts but it can be embarrassing. (I know for me it was). Now, you have to deal with the gossiping and the possible laughter behind your back. So now you have your broken heart along with having to explain "what happened" the best you can.

My friend, I've been there and I must tell you that it's no fun. But, the more I sat and thought about it, the better I felt. Meaning that I found myself healing and able to move forward. The mess was all out in the open and yes, people talked but they were getting all their gossiping about me and my marriage out the way. People focus on a subject for a period of time and then it begins to get old :). The focus soon fell off me and they were on to something else...One part of the embarrassment... over!

I say that to say this...don't be afraid once your curtain falls. God will always bring things that happened in the dark out into the light so it's going to come out. Stay focused on your healing and stay positive. Once God reveal it, the true healing begins!
