I consider myself a kind person. I treat people how I would like to be treated and I don't take advantage of people. Well, not everybody is that way. There are so many people that lurk around looking for and preying against kind people. Yep, they are all around us. It's our job, as kind people, to protect ourselves against people who are looking to use and abuse us. Pay close attention to the ones who always want something from you but NEVER give anything in return. Sure, they may not have anything monetary to give but certainly they can give their time, love and appreciation! If you come across someone who doesn't even give you that, then it's time to cut them off! No excuses!! They are most likely around to take your kindness for weakness. You must teach them that just because you are kind, you are very much in charge of yourself and you Will not be taken advantage of....period!
