Mental health...one of those things in life that a lot of us don't feel is necessary to worry with....
Hello Loves!!!!!
First, I want to encourage you to seek help if you're not feeling OK mentally. There are so many people in this world who suffer from mental illness and don't even know it! 450 MILLION people suffer from some sort of mental illness (World Health Organization) That's a lot of people and it means that YOU are not alone. My friend, it is perfectly OK to reach out for help. There are so many mental health professionals who specialize in helping people with mental disorders.
I suffer from depression and I have a counselor who I go and talk to every month and it has done wonders for me! I encourage you.... I beg you.... to seek help if needed. Hey, even if you're feeling great, it still doesn't hurt to check in with a professional from time to time... It's a great idea to just have someone to talk to :)
Also, check in with your friends and family. Just because someone is smiling, doesn't always mean that they are OK. Call and check on someone today. YOU can make a difference!
