NIPSEY HUSSLE....

Hello Loves!

How many of us knew about all the great work rapper and community activist, Nipsey Hussle accomplished? Did we know that he created an entire circle of businesses and employed ex-cons to work in them? Did we even know who Nipsey Hussle was before his death?

I must tell you, I didn't! And I wish I had of known more about him. It's a shame that his great spirit went unnoticed by most of the world until he was gunned down. Thousands of people, maybe even millions, mourned his death over the past few days. Yet, his activism was never talked about or praised. I never even heard one of his songs until after that fateful day! (Extremely talented I must say :))

My friend, it is imperative that we give people their flowers while they are living. People should be praised and loved while they are around to feel it; while they are able to smile and enjoy the praises. And.... It's also so important that we give ourselves love! Yes!! We must learn to praise ourselves as well. Show yourself some well deserved love before your time is up. Let's give flowers to ourselves as well as others while we are all still here to enjoy them :)
