The beautiful crisp air and the multi color leaves falling from the trees. Oh yes, I love this time of year. With the time falling back and the jackets coming out of hiding, soon comes the holidays with family and friends fun....The time of year when Tradition building is at its best!
Heyyyy Love!
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
Every Thanksgiving, I go to my family's house and spend the entire day laughing and talking about old times and best of all, eating! My aunt, who I affectionately call my sweetie pie auntie love, usually does most of the cooking ( my cousins do their thang too- My cousin, Endea, is mean with the mac and cheese (uses all sorts of cheese and then she puts it in the oven! sooo good!) and my other cousin, Chanel, makes a banana pudding that makes you want to slap yo momma! Well, not slap her lol but want to...you get the point... Every year, we all get together and have a wonderful time. We've created a Tradition. When we first started doing that, none of us looked at it as such. I guess that's how traditions are born. People get together and after a while, they make it stick :)
The holiday season is here! If you haven't spoken with a family member or a friend in a while, now would be the perfect time to get the friendship going again before the holidays hit ( it will be here before you know it) I encourage you to reach out; check on your loved one(s). Speaking from personal experience, traditions are good... in fact, they are great! I know I love it and hey, it gives you something to look forward to :) Show some love today :) Yes, you can build traditions all by yourself but they are soooo much better when you have family and friends around... That's when memories are added to the equation :)
