The devil's trap

Oh, that pesky devil! The stuff he likes to throw our way; only to keep us off track and unfocused!

Did you know that God has given us all the power of thought? Yes, I'm sure you all know that but did you know that we all actually have the power to outdo the devil's motives?? Yep, God has given us a mind so powerful that we can curve our thoughts any way we want Despite the devil in our ear talking his nonsense! The power lies in us to counteract what he wants us to believe.

The devil has a way of making us feel that we are at the end; like we can't move any further. Especially when we are facing a storm and the clouds are grey and gloomy. But, storms don't last always! They are temporary and the rain that comes from them are the nurturing needed to grow; more power to our minds are added from all the rain that falls during one of our storms... just like the flowers and grass grows from rain, so do we!!

All that nonsense that the devil rants is just his trap... It's his way to trap our minds so that we won't allow the rain that's falling to sink in and do it's job ( to learn, to grow, to be better for the next time) If he can have our minds, then he gets all the power. If we are paying attention to his trap talk then we aren't paying attention to God's lessons...
