You're Appreciated!

Just when I was getting ready to suffer a small meltdown (just simply tired) something happened that gave me the biggest boost!

Heyyyy Loves!

Now, we all go through moments when we get so overly exhausted that we just want to get under the covers and quit ( not forever; just for a little while) I recently had one of those moments!!! One of my weeks where I was so busy handling my household with extra stuff added onto it all. (teens smelling themselves.... but I digress...) Anyway, I just wanted to give up but then a commercial hit the TV and I experienced a moment from my son that changed my entire mood. A commercial came on that talked about "remarkable women" and my son said ma, that's you. You should be up there! The look on his face was priceless and the excitement in his voice was so touching that I cried. You see, my kids appreciate me... even when they are busy being teenagers and forget to show their appreciation for all that I do to keep things and them going, they do love and appreciate me :). That one moment from my son gave me a renewed strength...

There are people in your life who appreciate you, even when they get too busy to show you or to tell you. Trust me, they do! Keep movin' and shakin' my friend. When you get tired, think of the happy times, the happy moments. The times when your circle Does let you know. I will hold that moment with my son forever... So, when I get tired enough again to want to quit, i'll pull that from my memory and keep the smile on my face and the spunk in my actions :)
